This
building was originally the ice house. Sometime during
the 1930’s, after the introduction of the refrigerator,
it then became known as the woodshed, to keep firewood
dry, and then employees started taking up residence, as
there is always a shortage of housing for the surge of
summer workers.
It
was remodeled to consist of 5 rental units - generally
these are small units for two persons and are normally
kept in reserve for those needing emergency lodging or
those trailering their horses, as the units are located
directly next to the boarding corrals.
