One
quarter mile of the Fall River flows directly through
the Elkhorn Lodge property, providing excellent trout
fishing at a convenient location.
Adults
typically fish the Fall River, which runs next to the
Trout Pond. This river produces some of the largest fish
caught each season, including both rainbows and browns.
It
is also an excellent river for fly fishing later in the
summer, where our 'fishing' guests fly fish each morning
and afternoon with considerable success; they generally
practice a catch-and-release policy, although it is not
required.
Fishing
licenses are not required.
