The
Elkhorn hosts conferences ranging in size from the very
smallest, using a teepee as a facility, to larger groups
such as the Cedar Fall Caravan. The Caravan has used the
Elkhorn twice for its facilities; the last time they visited
they had 330 folks spending five nights. This is a "Youth
for Christ" group that used the Main
Lodge Dining Room for their Christian studies, and
the Elkhorn's amenities to burn the energy inherent in
high schoolers. We estimate that as many as 100 of this
group completed the trek to the summit of Man
Mountain daily, with some of those making the trip
more than once on the same day.
