Lodging
guests may board their horses and mules at the Elkhorn
Stables. During the summer
months, the Rocky Mountain National Park offers some of
the most pristine mountain trail riding in the world.
Riders may depart directly from the Elkhorn or they may
trailer their horses to the more distant trail heads throughout
the Park. Reservations are required.
Lodging
guests may also board their large dogs at the Stables.
The Park does not permit dogs on any of its trails and
guests may not leave large dogs in their rooms. This boarding
may be for a short period, or if the guests are on a multi-day
camp, arrangements may be negotiated with the Stables
personnel.
